The Ministry of Public Sector has revealed the details of the new cotton trading system, which is being piloted in Fayoum and Beni Suef in 2019. It aims at overcoming the disadvantages of the previous trading system and restoring Egyptian cotton to its distinguished international reputation and reputation. According to the new system, new bags of jute plant will be provided in the first week of next August at the new cotton receiving centers run by a subsidiary of the Cotton and Spinning and Cotton Holding Company, the largest final consumer of cotton in Egypt. Especially in the governorates of Fayoum and Beni Suef. Cotton will only be received through the farms directly and through ID card and agricultural holding card, in order to ensure that there is no fraud in the bags of intermediaries. In addition, 9 cotton delivery centers will be identified in Fayoum governorate and 8 in Beni Suef. Cotton will be received in the new centers from Saturday, August 17, for a period of three months, six days a week, excluding Fridays leave from 7 am to 3 pm, With the possibility of providing a means to transport the crop from farmers at cost.
